1/ WHAT IS A COOKIE?

A cookie is a small file which does not allow the user to be identified, but which records information relating to the browsing of a terminal on a site. The data obtained in this way will be stored on your terminal's hard disk (computer, tablet, mobile phone) by the browser software when you consult an online service. The purpose of cookies is to facilitate subsequent browsing of the site, and they are also used by the site owners for various audience measurement purposes.

Cookies do not cause any damage to the terminal, but make it easier, for example, to find preferences, pre-fill certain fields and adapt the content of services according to your interests.

2/ HOW DO I ACCEPT OR REFUSE THE USE OF COOKIES?

To manage cookies and your choices, the configuration of each browser is different. This is described in your browser's help menu, which will tell you how to modify your cookie preferences. Any settings you make may affect your browsing on the Internet and your conditions of access to certain services requiring the use of cookies.

You have the option of configuring your devices so that they accept all cookies, inform you when a cookie is issued or never accept any cookies. However, this last option may mean that certain personalised services cannot be provided and, as a result, you may not be able to take full advantage of all the functions offered by the website.

If you do not wish to receive cookies in general or only wish to refuse certain cookies, you can modify your browser settings accordingly.

Instructions on how to do this are provided on each browser's website:

- Internet Explorer

- Firefox

- Safari

- Under Chrome

For any other browser not mentioned above, please consult the cookie management help available on the Internet.

3/ HOW DO WE USE COOKIES?

The information collected by cookies helps us to analyse the use of the Site and to offer you a better experience during your visit. We also use cookies to send you messages tailored to your interests.

4/ THE COOKIES WE USE

Functional cookies

The functional cookies issued by the Site enable it to:

- To adapt the presentation of our Site (language used, display resolution, operating system used, etc.), according to the hardware and viewing or reading software that your terminal has. These cookies expire at the end of the session

- To facilitate searches by storing searches already carried out by the user. These cookies are kept for 13 months.

Escodec may use analytical cookies to improve the performance of the Site, collecting only connection data relating to the date, time, Internet address, protocol of the user's terminal and the page consulted. In any event, Escodec may use suppliers' analytical tools and associated cookies.

Although Escodec has no control over these suppliers of analytical tools, who are responsible for their own processing, nor over the data they collect, including in the context of data transfer outside the European Union, since some of them are located in the United States, Escodec has deemed it essential to mention this so that you have clear and complete information about the fact that their use may, where appropriate, require your consent.
